A bit about Narcissism...

The Narcissistic personality has gained a great deal of attention in our culture in recent times.  Narcissistic personality disorder, also referred to as pathological narcissistic, is one of several types of personality disorders.  It is a mental condition that is characterized by an individual having an inflated sense of self importance, a need for excessive admiration and attention, a lack of empathy for others, and troubled relationships. People with a narcissistic personality disorder often find relationships unfulfilling and others may avoid association with the narcissistic personality.  They may become disappointed or frustrated if they are not given admiration favors that they feel they deserve.
